what you can do also is send them to a relative who can put in in a barrel and shipped, which was my method when i bought my wheels, got them from the dealer with the tyres mounted, carried them to a park, got it dirty with some dust and grass, shipped it to trinidad, customs charged 300ttd because they did show signs of use.....

Try SeaBox Trinidad Ltd.

www.seaboxtt.com

Your package will be sent via ocean freight at a lower cost, but slower. You should contact them and see what the delivery time and cost may be.

I brought in some 15" rims @12 lbs a piece BNIB
And some 235/60/15 BF tyres

The rim/tyre package was $1100 use and the total shipping and clearing cost was $4000... Came in with tropical express couriers...they charge by volume and not weight.

But they have now changed their rules and will charge by actual weight only and that would make it a lot cheaper.

I brought mine by air btw.

I want to bring in some 17's too, what was the final landed cost with everything totalled up?

Did you buy tyres as well?

I wanted to swap my 17s so didn't buy tyres just reused what was on th car.

The wheels were us$600 off eBay delivered to skybox so total costs involved were

600x6.4 = 3840
42x4x6.4=1075.2
Customs= 800

Total=TT$5715.2

Yeah oem Vw but those were an older style so the price was relatively low. Most of the 17 oem vw are 22 to 26 lbs. New ones real expensive considering they not forged. $300 per wheel.

When sent by sea the notifications from tropical are very slow...but they do show up...I ordered rotors for my ride and the showed up exactly three weeks after they were shipped.
