Seaweed condition in Tobago?

Postby gundelero » May 22nd, 2015, 2:05 pm

Fellow tuners from Tobago or those over there...
What's the condition of the beaches with respect to seaweed? I know Magdalena is very horrible.
What about Store Bay, Pigeon Point?

Thanks.

Those areas are supposed to be free of seaweed.

^^ To the above 2 posters, either one of you in Tobago to give an accurate response to the man question?

I have seen and been in both PP and SB with lots of seaweed present so neither are immune to it washing up on shore or floating arond in the sea just offshore

If you dry sea weed can you smoke it? Before they throw it all away somebody should find out. Could be sitting on a gold mine.

i was in tobago last week. pigeon pt is ok. all other beaches are terrible. tons of seaweed. flying overhead you get a good sense of why it makes no sense to clean the beaches. many areas of the ocean is filled with seaweed
