need a lot more info than just d question.
what type?
what cfm? and at what min-max pressure?
what application?
gas or electric?
industrial air or breathing air?

and last but not least, most important question of all
what's your definition of cheap?

My tires, what else you had in mind? :?

Edit: just realized the thread wasn't about gas station air pumps specifically which is what i am referring too.

Right now I'm getting a low tire pressure warning. Around 30-31 psi

Check in your trunk, you might find one. If your car didn't come with a spare tyre, you probably have one.

I get fed up and bought an 8 gallon compressor and done. A bit overkill but I find real ways to use it. If is to just inflate tyres, a pancake compressor will do. I never had luck with any of those 12v chupidness

I have a 12V Black and Decker using for 6 and a half years strong. It even inflates my car's donut spare to the specified 60PSI no problem.
