That should more than cover normal daily usage, just plug in to charge every night
Nah boy have some land about 70 km from where I live one back and forth is 140 km if I have some other runs to make that will be cutting it close
Well nah, you hadda stick to diesel
No if I get 300km range that will be good

The Kia Niro EV will give more than that
The niro hybrid you mean, don't think it have a EV version to it, at least not locally. Might be a few years before we get the long distance ones

They bring the Hybrid hope they follow thru

I like the smaller battery which gives about 300k and will be cheaper than the one with the larger battery

I like how I could not charge a night and be good to go or u could charge 4 hours a night and still be fully charged every day

Well, ANSA is the only company that brings down Brand new cng vehicles, so it ain't suprising that the government pushing it so hard.

So one subsidy for another?

What guarantee do we have that with higher usage the price will not be increased?

This is much more relevant to those retrofitting!

New cars will of course have saved up front due to less taxes

But there is only one new car available

Still does not add up to me

I saw a couple of foreign-used Nissan Leafs for sale ($ 110,000 - $ 150,000). One owner claims 136 km per charge. It would be interesting to compare running costs (and refill/charge time) to those of their hybrid and CNG counterparts.

All I can say is that the ioniq maintenance period is 7 months and basically is just alignment and such issues,

When you consider no spark plug no air filter no fuel filter no transmission no engine no injectors and much longer service intervals

The savings will be substantial

If the service interval is double that alone will save about 1500 every 7 months

I spend 7000 in seven months in diesel

If instead I was spending 700 then I would be saving almost 8000 in 7 months

That we will be approx 1000 a month to offset the installment

The only thing keeping me back is that 200 km range and the knowledge that we may get the niro with a longer range

honest question here guys.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have 12k+ lying around for a new kit.
I've seen kits online way cheaper than what's offered locally.
I've also seen a few used kits for sale locally

Can I buy a kit and have it installed locally, anyone ever did this?
Any recommendations for a tech who capable of installing said kit?

Its intended for a c25 serena and I'm bracing from supposedly higher gas prices in 2021

NGC had promotion for free kits just up to last week I believe. Every few months had a promotion for free installation for the last couple years in fact. I even applied and got through to convert but was told my vehicle was not 'eligible'. Check out their website for the next upcoming promotion.

With respect to your 'trying to save a buck' approach, not sure about the online / local used kits but there's a guy in Claxton Bay who does installation for a reasonable price. I think he might even offer payment plans (not sure). Don't have a name or # for him but he's a known guy so ask around for info.
