The beatup on fb was epic, glad to hear that the change making a difference. One problem with many Trinis is that they rather cause an accident/block up a road instead of giving way for a few secondspaid_influencer wrote:Galvatron wrote:There's no stop sign for cars travelling in the direction the red car was headed. yup. cars including porsches making the right turn onto the link road supposed to wait at the line.
it really is a beautiful road design that cut down on traffic significantly, but ppl still getting used to it and the intersection could legitimately use better signage
ppl was real beating up about having to go through the roundabout too but the 90% reduction in traffic worth it

maj. tom wrote:Usually stop and yield to the one who reached first. It takes road courtesy and good faith for these kind of intersections. We hardly have that in the majority of Trinidad drivers who don't even have the courtesy to turn on their lights when it's raining so other drivers can see them.
Yuh might say that but most humans fear consequences rather than are generally courteous or nice people.demented wrote:Trinidadians and Courtesy don't usually go together.

Look again. There is a stop line, but no sign in the red car's direction.
Expecting courtesy from the same people that don't know how a roundabout works no thanks every morning I have to pass a roundabout omw to work and ppl always rushing and willing to take a "chance" knowing fully well they would be in the wrong if an accident were to occur.demented wrote:Trinidadians and Courtesy don't usually go together.

There is a traffic light at the stop line you're referring to. So the red car has the right of way to proceed.
I pass last night, no lightpaid_influencer wrote:there is no traffic light there i checked
