It is best to negotiate.
Sum up the number of windows.
Get a quote for all windows glass change out.
Do same for tint option.
Always best to do a package deal.
Tinting the glass will eventually require replacing so factor that cost in your final assessment as changing the glass is a permanent fix and will only require replacement due to breakage.
tinted films today are far more advanced than they were years ago.pluggie wrote:I would definately go with replacing the glass with pre-tinted panes ... Its probably a neater and longer lasting job, not to mention it won't look too poo-har... I guess it depends on your house as well, if you living in a multi-million dollar house then you won't want any sheit tint on your window.

For sure Duane but I can only imagine installing tint on a french window fabricated by the neighbourhood "Radge Coomar" can be a mission with uneven edges and the glass needs to be smooth allround...Lots of room for sheity workmanship.
