Subventions may not have been received as yet so maybe closer to December 21/ January 22 payments may start to happen.

I accustom.
Prior to Covid they sat on my 2017 and 2018 refunds for two years.

Not trying to be an arse early this morning:

I don't know you guys and your circumstances, but I will say the same thing I encourage my younger friends to do.Build your portfolio in a way that taxes and prices become more of a petty nuisance than a threat.Play the system like how the 1% does it.
Only 2 ways to do this.Cut your costs,or raise your income, or better yet, both

Yup you are very much correct . This thread is mainly about how it progressed from the paper style . In summary before COVID returns used to be back in a 2 months and only if it’s over $10000 I believe is where they would take longer . By next year things should return to normal if the economy doesn’t crash

Yea my former employer ignoring my email requests for 2020 TD4. I seriously feeling to crack them a pre action protocol letter.

If asked at filing would 8 weeks be acceptable for refund I would say yes every time.
I always unlucky to have to wait months (and years).

They do TD1s so quickly though. Got my TD1 certificate yesterday having put in the request last week Thursday. Given the protests on Friday and the public holiday Mon I find they did it quickly.

Dizz,

Yeh, not every public servant was in that nuisance protest.

So the few that actually work sorted you out quickly.

Notice of Assessment was issued on June 6th (Digital version on the online system) - refund amount approved as filed.

Now to wait for the check itself which is the problem.

What's the different statuses on the portal? Mines say refund processing but I got the notice assessment in the mail that I am getting a refund. The notice assessment was also dated the 6th June.

Would the portal state cheque sent? So I'd know it's on its way?

I think it's refund issued would mean the cheque out. There is also a section somewhere where you can check the status of the refunds, like if the cheque was issued, if it was cashed or staledated etc. Dig around in and you'll see it

Fellas, what going on with that TTConnect etax portal? It has been down for ages. Like people have to go back to doing their taxes using those hard copy forms and submit them by hand?

Strange to be audited so often.

Don't you get a TD 4 from your agency / insurance company?

Because the refund is over a certain limit, they always hadda audit . Same job last hundred years, same allowances, same documents submitted annually and these dodo brains don't seem to realise it's recurring

Use the non logged in service.
Send the email with the required information and in a few hours you would receive your IIT # and a Letter ID which allows the use of the non logged in service.

Well forward for a day or two and then incompetence and poor maintenance sends us further back.
