Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Chap. 48:50
“parking” means causing or permitting a vehicle, whether occupied
or not, to stand on a road, except—
(a) while the vehicle is being loaded or unloaded

iirc legally they have a right to do that
if u meant like parking any ole wayward how , taking extra long or containers parked up for more than a day i cud understand but say for ex like businesses on chaguanas main road from busy corner to d market with no parking facilities & no back entrances , how they going to get goods into their store ? , most store owners & suppliers wont do it after hrs at evening or night due to security issues ...

The street signs say turn left before 6pm on to Alice Street . Though I often feel like the only idiot obeying this law . On Alice there is a Garage or two with vehicles constantly parked on both sides of the road, making it one narrow lane. Turn right on the short street to Watts St is more of the same , vehicles stored and repaired in the road making it a narrow single lane .
These are the street that so called planners direct traffic from the highway into . If these vehicles are removed both roads are very wide but they are narrowed considerably with vehicles parked on both sides .
