Yea tuners, once in a while i see guys sellin lobsters on the side of the road...men who fish etc..But anyone knows where can i get fresh lobsters readily locally?


ohh and what do you think is the best way to prepare it..

Boiled in salt water?

Local lobsters are called spiny lobsters, you won't get those alive unless you go down pt.radix and wait for the pot men to come in and try and hustle them lol. As for prep, I think shrimp is better than lobster and cheaper lol but butterfly the tail by cutting down the carapace without going through completely, season to your liking, skewer it, hit it with some olive oil and butter in a pan, get all your aromatics going on the stovetop. I flavour the baste with some of the seasoning and dump in the tail, let it sit for a bit till the color begins to go reddish/orange slightly on the carapace and the meat is just turning opaquely white. Keep basting and then just cover and pop it in the oven for 5-10 mins according to your liking.

Tru value trincity mall usually has a tank with live lobsters by the frozen meats sect.

It have a place in Bristol Village (Bristol Road) going to Mayaro from Rio Claro side. It have some Chinese people that set up a cold storage place and buying out all the squid and local lobster. They even have some saltwater tanks that they will continue to grow the small ones.

The price when I checked was 35$ for dead ones and 50$ for live ones and the squid does sell by the case was about 2something for it.

When they make up a load, they does ship it out. They buying as much as they can get they hands on.
