Flying Cars

Postby <=xjemler=> » October 13th, 2013, 6:35 pm

The first flying cars are set to go on sale to the public as early as 2015. Terrafugia has announced its Transition design, which is part sedan, part private jet with two seats, four wheels and wings that fold up so it can be driven like a car, will be on sale in less than two years. The Massachusetts-based firm has also unveiled plans for a TF-X model that will be small enough to fit in a garage, and won’t need a runway to take off. Would you buy one?

heavy tint, 22" wheels with sheit tyres (becuz men want big rims and cyar buy tyre) , big music , car burning black smoke while flying (people cyar maintain they car) , signal lights not working (or refused to be used) , replacement of original engine with RB-26 DET (men want more fyarzz in the air) ...Not to mention men gonna feel like they better than everyone since they abover the others, flying around dropping sheit and spitting on people (sounds crazybut remember the mentality of drivers when Vigo, Navara and Triton just came out ?)

Yeah.. also the A5 can actually fly.. That doesn't look like it can generate enough lift with those small wings.

guess you didn't watch the vid to see the props rotate upward to provide vertical lift (like a chopper), with the rear blades providing thrust.

Dude, all that is there is animation. I could design it and say I have a flying car "developed". It's nothing more than an extremely far fetched concept. And the physics of the animation is not even remotely realistic.

Check out the first flight of the CycloTech technology demonstrator. The Austrian company based its "CycloRotor" propulsion system on the Voith Schneider Propeller design, which has been used in maritime applications for decades. CycloTech believes it could be used to create compact, maneuverable small drones and air taxis.
