Good question... most eid events dont have music. They usually only have Qasidas (sp) playing or nothing at all.

You have to know the type of Muslims you playing for. Ask the people who hired you. Some Muslims consider all music as bad, while others consider qasidas and nasheeds allowed. Some consider the words sung in a lot of qasidas and nasheeds as bad since they give the Prophet god like qualities (a major sin) when the Prophet was just a plain human with no special abilities. And there a some less practicing Muslims who see no problem in any music. The safest thing to cater for all Muslims is no music at all.
