Would you fly?

Postby AirSupport » March 9th, 2013, 6:36 pm

Hi folks, are thinking about bringing to Trinidad new type of recreational aircraft. These aircraft would be available to our present and future club members. The options we are looking at are gyrocopters, powered parachutes (not paragliders) and Air Trikes.

You would need some kind of airmen certification. A private pilot license etc

You can also get a Sport Pilot license that allows you to fly these. Take 20hrs normally cost about 3000USD.

We are submitting proposals to the CAA to start a Skydiving Association. This would take time and money. So for now we are trying to increase interest, raise cash and promote sport aviation.

More than likely we should have a POwered para soon. The gyro is coming but those take a few months from when we place the order. In the mean time we have a fixed wing LSA that we open to our club members to get familiar with sport flying.

They are all safe but we would be looking at the Trike and gyro for now. The para might be more seasonal.

I hear fellas does pay up to 300 for a jetski for 30mins. We let people fly for the same thing.

Those who want to join the club could do so at www.tntairsupport.com/flying-club.html. Just full out the contact form and a club administrator would contact you.
