Mt. Hope students robbed in their classroom

Just saw this piece of info circulating on the social media channels.

It seems that the bandits were posing as students and proceeded to rob everyone in the class.

Year 2 medical students in seminar room 10..2 bandits walked in pretending they're were students then told everyone to get down on the floor including the tutor. They proceeded to pack all the laptops and student phones in their bags..Also stole jewellery and money from them, then proceeded to run off...It's really a sad day in a society where students can no longer go to school and feel safe...

this man obviously has gone through medical school several times and/or has relatives who have had it pretty easy in med school/health sector and still charging him so that must be why he toting so much!

I agree, they deserve to be compensated for their hard work. But there are some of them that only interested in maximizing profit instead of helping u to get better. They are in the minority, but MPATT refuses to discipline them, and they give their profession a bad name.

as with police,politicians, the businessman , the garbage man , the librarian there are bad people in a group that people like to paint with a broad paint brush but such is life.
unfortunate that you had bad experiences previously but some of the sacrifices are unimaginable sometimes but the majority of health care professionals actually love what they do although they are provided with minimal things to work with.

They chose the class furthest away from everyone.

Sad it happened the morning of their Fun Day as well.

My point exactly, it shouldn't take place anywhere.........but why glorify the medical school incident? When the grocery by me got robbed the other day where was the hype to go with it? All im trying to say is we need to focus on the bigger picture......not just on one incident involving a bunch of students.
