Is your DENTIST registered ????? ... Full list here ...

Postby fokhan_96 » January 20th, 2013, 2:07 pm

http://www.dctt.org.tt/images/members.pdf

The link shows the list of registered dentists in Trinidad and Tobago.
If your dentist is not on this list, either they did not meet the requirements of the Dental Council of Trinidad and Tobago to practise dentistry, or they're not a dentist at all. ALWAYS have treatment done by a registered dentist since you would be putting your health at risk or making the situation worse by having treatment done by an unqualified person.

Yes that list is accurate seeing that it comes straight from the council's website.

Most tuners too broke or have no teeth so this won't affect them.

If your dentist name is not there, ask to see his registration certificate, which should be present at the location of his practice.

Reference: Dental profession act. Chapter 29:54, Subsidiary Legislation, Dental regulations.
25. (1) " The certificate of registration or duplicate and the practice certificate or duplicate shall be prominently displayed at all times in the reception area of the dentist's office."

i am in no position to make any allegations. The official (legal) list is/would be published in the Gazette.

Reference: Dental Profession Act, Chapter 29:54
24. (1) The secretary shall not later than 31st March in each year cause to be published in the Gazette- (a) a list of the names of all persons who at that time are registered as dentists
