Police are looking for a 27-year-old man who, according to reports, ran amok on Saturday night after returning to his Pleasantville home and finding another man’s car parked in front his house..
The enraged suspect, police said, proceeded to smash the front and back windscreens of the vehicle and the glass of the front and back doors. He also caused extensive damage to the body of the vehicle, police added. The mother of two and her male co-worker who were at the time liming had to run for cover..
According to a police report, at about 11.30 pm on Saturday, the 21-year-old casino worker and her colleague were at Zinnia Drive in Pleasantville when the suspect arrived.
The report said the man exited the vehicle he arrived in and proceeded to damage the other vehicle. The woman and her friend ran inside the house and hid. He then jumped back into the car and left. Investigators were unable to say what was used in the attack.
PC Eastman of the Mon Repos Police Station is continuing enquiries.
