Browsing through the news channels earlier and came upon a news report on CNC3 discussing road fatalities. Lo and behold who do I see giving the report in a press briefing......Brent Batson (constable).

Was he always a police officer? Can anyone shed light on this? Or was this some behind the scene thing? RS?

If it not affecting you or bodi then good but this is the same man that harassing people on the road. It is the public's business that all of a sudden he is now and police officer.

It's not as if his application ALONE went through, he was in a batch of entrants. I don't see how this suggests any preferential treatment or anything of the sort. OP needs to stop grasping at straws.

Dude if he is assisting in trying to keep people safe on the roads how is that "harassing people" ? Sounds like you are one of those drivers they talking about that the police need to look out for ! I mean people are really driving like idiots and taking unncessary chances at the expencse of other people's lives on the road any help to "harass" them is welcome by me!

I personally rather Arrive Alive traffic than accident/death/macco traffic.
And Arrive Alive sometimes accompanies the TTPS on some exercises, never by themselves, because they're not authorized to obstruct the flow of traffic, so it's the police stopping you, not them.
