Picked up a couple bottles of Smirnoff Black for my guests at Christmas, very sippable and mixable will pick up some more in DF
Image

also picked up a bottle of Smirnoff Gold in the UK, really interesting gimmick, I have 2 liquors with gold in it goldschlager and a rum made for Forbes Burnam when he was president of Guyana and in both cases the gold sank when left alone, the Smirnoff however had gold that floats throughout the bottle each flake seems to have a specific density so a flake in the middle of the bottle will not rise to the top or sink looks like it's in a suspension but the liquid is as fluid as any vodka

nice eliteauto

i wasnt a vodka drinker before but i love Belvedere. I have the Intense (100 proof) and occasionally have the premium & regular blends straight. They mix nice with goldschlager or appleton rum for a shot

Ok folks I got 4 bottles of Investment whisky from the Kininvie Distillery.
This distillery no longer exists to which they made 7000 bottles of Batch 1, 23 year whisky 375cl. They come boxed
Near impossible to buy batch 1 bottles .
Each Batch 1 bottles are individually numbered, I got bottle # 475, #478 . Cant recall the other two #s.
They normally sell at auction around £220 depending on bottle #. I got low #s.
In 5 years time these are going to be worth £500.

You always store whisky upright, the liquid alcohol reacts with cork/seal and over time it erodes it. Plus the cork/seal affects the taste.

One pointer is too keep the JW green as they no longer bottle the 15yr old.
Its a collectors investment item now.

As I told a relative recently, don't let someone who no sense of ceremony open your drinks at your wake. For investment sure, otherwise enjoy it
