Trying to hunt down where sells the best tasting/flavored soup stop.
What else would be considered a standard Saturday dish whether made or bought?

Soup is a must for a Saturday!!
I like the soup from Xtra foods deli in Gran Bazaar. There’s also a roti shop on Aranguez Main Road obliquely opposite Better Value supermarket that has a bess fish broth.
The corn soup guy outside Grand Bazaar has a bess corn soup and u can add either chicken foot, cow heel or pigtail. He's on there at night tho.

It have bar in Munroe RD "Matches" that have boil black eye that tastes good (although i hate black eye).

i grew up with soup on ah saturday. on work was dhal, rice, and sumting.
but getting halall soup is not so feasible. there used to be food basket, but like they stop cooking. there is also mura on cipiero street, but prices hott.

Bess soup right now is seecho's in chaguanas. On the main road by dairy bar dey. Especially the broth. Lawd. I does leave home in arima and fight the mid-day traffic to chaguanas just to geh my broth and head back home. Dine in is the flick. The place lil grimey looking inside buh service like dat. U take a seat and seecho go take ur order. While you wait, you have about 3 weeks of sunday punch to peruse together with the 3 dailies. When the broth reach, ask him for the complimentary mug of cold water and make sure you get your half lime. And it made just how I like it; 1 inch thick slices of fish, whole ochro, big pieces of eddoes, potatoes and pumpkin and green fig and them thing. When u finish, u guaranteed tuh buss a sweat although yuh under cold breeze inside. My only complaint is that he doh have pull out beds for his customers to sleep when itis kick in.
