^^^ SMH..

Anyway, it's about time. Hopefully this will mean that speed traps can be set up more easily and also placed any and everywhere.

Lots of $ to be made.

not PP, Arrive Alive ppl

each gun is $50,000

nothing to worry about without legislation...but the guns have video capabilities and can record your vehicle number plates and has laptop connectivity.

i dont think so but we still have a minister of justice releasing 50 prisoners to celebrate independence :|

source cnc3 news yesterday they mentioned that the guns were here and today they showed a clip of it being used on Arapita avenue I believe. The man in charge of writing the policies said since he joined the police force 40 years he has been hearing about the guns coming and is glad to see the first step of it becoming a reality being taken

Those detectors/jammers, work on newer radar guns?

I think it worked on older analog versions.

we have radar guns - but no legislation for use - it will be packed down until election time comes around.
we have breathalyser- but yet ppl still drinking and driving.
we have that cell phone law- no one does bother with it- everyone still talking and driving.

we still dont have legislation to allow video evidence in court or even the use of tint meters - but they want to bring radar guns with video capability

They need to put them to use on the Uriah Butler Highway, asap.

140 Kmph and some cars just cruising past me on the northbound lane...(after 10PM, i.e.). Some of these need to be installed on the newly constructed median as well: http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/highway-reflector.html.

Churchill Roosevelt is alright, probably because of the traffic lights.

reix, seeing in this backward country something simple as camo is deemed illegal...no doubt they would pass laws to ban radar detectors :?
