Don't worry as long as our Olympians have "swag", that is all that matters to some. T&T is always hell bent on rewarding mediocrity so hardly anyone strives to be the best, that's why our athletes are playing third banana to the US and JA. At the end of the day it all boils down to will and discipline, I would love to see a Trini's training program inclusive of diet vs that of one the winning competitors

nice, but its not JUST about this, its about having a youth system in place from grassroots level with facilities, condition, coaches and sponsorship. Just take a look at the jamaican and american academies and its easy to see why theyre ahead of us.

Personally i find trini athletes do well considering that we have such slipshot facilities and methods of training.
