I think one can also go for online global MBA from ThunderBird as that school is good and quite popular. I don’t think there are any good schools of such repute as Thunderbird in CARICOM region.

SBCS and ALJ. Cave Hill is not bad.

What specifically are you looking to do?

Curriculum would be similar across all the UWI business schools, but I'd give ALJ the advantage, because T&T is the business hub of the caribbean, so a lot of the industry professionals who deliver content would have a great international perspective.

That said, the programme is expensive as firetruck.

Distance learning is excellent (it pays my bills) but it's even more expensive than the brick-and-mortar institutions. Would definitely raise your international profile though.

I consider education an investment and it should provide a suitable ROI.

If two programmes are available, one for 100K and the other for 250K and both would land me the same salary range in Trinidad, and I know that I'll probably be residing here for the next 10-15 years, then I'd go with the 100K option.

If I have intentions of assessing international job prospects, then cost may be irrelevant - take the better recognized institution.

If you're looking to leave and work outside Trinidad then you should be concerned with the international ranking of your programme.

The Financial Times Executive Education rankings that combine the views of open and custom programme clients show Henley rising to 35th in the world, 19th in Europe and 5th in the UK. This testifies to the impact of Henley’s Executive Education activities in its engagement with the world’s leading companies.

AFAIK no Caribbean programme is even included in the FT 100 World Rankings
