Hearing of prolonged electrical power outages in various parts of the country.
Trincity, Maraval, Westmoorings and other places..
Pt. Lisas having issues. Load shedding ordered.
Power should be back by 9am.

What happened was; the Powergen Power Plant, located at Pt Lisas had an emergency and was forced to temporarily shut down. As a result, the Powergen in POS had to undergo "Load Shedding" to maintain supply to particular industries in south and north.
Load Shedding: this is what a Power Station does to provide power to locations not usually under jurisdiction.
-supply is taken away from locations not considered as 'necessary' and given to industries/businesses that would require it. For every hour that these industries remain without current, the economy loses millions$$, hence the necessity.
By now all supply should have been returned with still some minor work to be done….
