no flow in my area yet only blink...also a friend in penal now get flow and blink offering them $200 a month no contract for their 4mbps package while i paying the full $350 in my my area for the same package...

These are the shady tactics blink uses to get back the customers who switch over when their area goes digital.

that sucks...don't know when flow guh reach by me nah...d price i paying for a 4mbps package from blink i cudda been getting alot more speed for my $$$$!

I finally switched from Blink to Flow this week because I was paying a lot more for landline (which I don't use) + Internet...

Only when I called to have my landline completely disconnected they asked why and I told them flat out "Your rates weren't competitive, so I switched to flow", they offered me the 4mb package at $191 per month plus a free wireless modem without a contract. They even asked if I was willing to cancel my flow and keep their service. LOL.

I thought FLOW sucked? Download speeding dropping for 10mbps to dial up speeds at night time and what not.

If I have a UPS on the blink modem, router/switch , pc etc would I still get internet when power goes? I am asking because flow service goes once no power in the area, although I have a UPS for everything in my house.

OP u should keep a cheap blink package until Flow gets in ur area IMO.

$700 for 10mbps down and 768 up with blink....flow has 100mbps down and 2mbps up for $800 :lol:

$600 for 50mbps down and 2mbps up

normally u should get internet for 15 mins with the modem battery- more if it has a UPS.. if it goes out as soon as power goes it's probably the node in the area that doesn't have backup power- call Flow & tell them- they might have a faulty battery or something- I experienced that for a few months in Aranguez- b4 that I used to get Internet once the UPS still have juice :mrgreen:

he will also have to be close to the exchange to get 10mbs

I think 10mbs by flow is 299, and 15mbs is 399. I stuck with blink 1mbs

the flow modem i have does not have a battery or phone jack. did flow change the battery and that resolve the problem?
