This match could finish today if SA declares by tea but I doubt they'd do that. WI will probably make less than the first innings total of 97.

Well WI do not have the quality of bowlers, batsmen, all rounders, fielders, administrators, pitch curators, groundsmen that SA has. So Captain thought it might be safer to bat first. LOL.

There we go fixed it for ya. ;)

Embarrassment there, looks like England will get licks too, but at least they fight a bit.

WI not anywhere close to the quality of SA.

Alzarri still playing county cricket in England?

He's in the squad. I doubt he'll get a game tho..... most likely they stick with the same bowling line up next test.

Not sure what changes will be made to the batting. I'd drop black wood for Bravo despite the fact he's the vice captain. He's been underperforming for a few series in a row.

India has named their 11 for the World Test Championship final
Would have been my XI as well (If was a very very green pitch I would have gone with a 4th seamer in place of either Ashwin or Jadeja)

Backing India for this but NZ could have the edge mainly because they just had good practice and they are playing in known conditions. Ind have to come good

I think both teams have an even chance of winning but given NZ's record of losing in finals, I'll fancy India.

^^LOL.

But I think WI made a mistake to play Gabriel today. I am not too sure that he has recovered from that hamstring injury.

What did Alzarri Joseph do for them not to pick him? At least he can bat and bowl.

Gabriel cannot bat to save his life.

WI SA 2nd test to start in a few minutes. Delayed start due to rain. WI won toss and bowling first.
Morbidly Obese got a drop and Gabriel comes in
Powell for Bonner full time.

Just as I said. 4-2-9-0 overs and he is off the field already. Pure BS on WI part.

I am glad that WI did not bat first because they way the Wi bowlers are going, SA would have bowled us out by now.

SA 37/3 before lunch. Ball swinging like Tarzan on a vine.

WI 115 for 5, 183 behind, looks like a 4 day match.

Today matches both WI vs SA and Ind vs NZ was boring. WI as usual just trying to survive the 5 days though they might just make it another 3 day test. India just trying to bat as long as possible. Pujara batting is just wasted time just like rain falling.

 I am not so sure. SA has to bat again. So if they make a quick 150/175 and put WI in again, then maybe after tea!!!

WI lost 4 wickets for 6 runs. SMDH - That whole batting is problems.

Best they rounds up some fellas from club cricket and give them a chance oui.
