highest successful fourth innings run chase on that pitch is 276. West Indies need to bat all of tomm and get a lead of 350+.

Now that we finally have a bowling attack that could dismiss sides twice we have a batting lineup that even more fragile than ever before.

with the current players whether injured, unfit or "bad mind" I would go with

Gayle,barath,simmons,darren bravo,chanders, dwayne bravo,ramdin,sammy (steupse),bishoo,rampaul,edwards..

I could work with these guys...

allyuh men eh like sammy at all...the problem i think is the fact ppl call him an allrounder wen he isnt...he is a good seamer thats all...i think on d kinda pitches we playin on dese days sammy is the best way to round out our bowling attack...wat we need is good batting an certain men just in de side an owin runs....if i had to pick a windies xi it would be

gayle, guillen (also as captain),chanderpaul, kirk edwards, young bravo, ramdin, kevon cooper, fidel edwards, taylor, rampaul, bishoo 12th man pollard (who has a first class century to his name mind u)

So you would leave out Kirk Edwards, who has 2 centuries in his first 3 test matches and averages 73, for Lendl Simmons, who averages 17 after 8 matches and has never crossed 50?

And we does cuss other islanders for insularity eh...

i dont think is badmind, is more a matter of principle. As far as im concerned, the WICB is pretty fcuked up themselves.

this game done. Our inability to bat spin once again is our downfall. oh and someone please tell Ravi to bowl fuller....this short of length thing...steups. Tendulkar is a skunt....It the amount of victories that matters...not runs.

Scores: WI - 304, 180 All Out.
India - 209, 152 for 2. they require 124 more runs for victory with 8 wickets in hand. Our bowlers are unable to dislodge Dravid and Tendulkar at the moment. :/

so west indies lost the game, didn't watch the presentation, but I sure the normal defeat speech would have entailed. "we would take the positives from this game and move to the next"

2nd test begins nov 14th.
