Any talk of turning corner has to be taken in context of format
- WI are sometimes competitive in T20s anywhere in the world
- Not competitive in ODIs at all
- and sometimes competitive in Tests but at home

With SL's loss to NZ this morning they ended their ODI Super league campaign and remain below the WI's points total in the race for automatic qualification for the ODI WC later on this year.

SA are playing Netherlands today with one more match to follow and one victory would be enough to tie WI and two victories for SA would move them past WI. Seeing as they have a far superior NRR even one victory should see them get the last automatic qualifying spot.

And Ireland also can overhaul WI if they happen to trounce Afghanistan 3-0 in their last series of the Super league.

WI would have to play in the ten team qualifier from which only 2 moves on to the WC.

Channel 389 was showing it. You just have to surf through the latter 300's channels and you'll find one that shows it as Flow usually reserves those channels to dump stuff that are supposed to be aired elsewhere but can't due to other shows taking priority.

So as it stands there are 7 teams already in the ICC WC Qualifiers -
Netherlands, WI, SL, Zimbabwe (either Ireland or South Africa will join as the 5th full ODI team)
Nepal, Oman, Scotland (two of Namibia, Papua New Guinea, UAE, USA, Canada and Jersey will join after a final qualification competition for non-ODI members)

That's a lot of teams at WI ODI level!!! And when one considers WI were saved by both a dubious umpiring decision (there was no DRS for that tourney) and rain in their must win match at the last qualifier in 2018 they really could miss out this time.

Update -
USA has qualified for the World Cup Qualifier today (Jersey and PNG cannot qualify at all)

Only Kohli got an "illegal delivery" eh? What about other players? Them Indians and them too disingenuous.

Has Narine ever gone back to short sleeves since his first chucking calls in the IPL around 2014 I think?

It's pretty instructive he wears long sleeves when everyone else is in short sleeves.

To show how disingenuous they are if Kohli had hit the same ball for 6 instead of getting out would there be a video explaining how that ball was illegal?

Yea hoss I know Narine pelting years now and I'm usually the first one to call it out but the Indians and dem too disingenuous like I was saying before because this isn't the first ball Narine bowled in the tournament nor is it the first ball he bowled to Kohli. It's just because he got their god Kohli out is why they beating up about his action for just that 1 ball. This is just too conniving.
