What was crazy about that scorecard was that Leicestershire batted first made 584 and still lost by an innings!!!

Sam Northeast, the guy who struck the quad plays for Glamorgan, Leicester's opponent in that game.

WI made it 3 for 3 losses against India in ODI's at the Oval in 2022.

From Cricinfo:

Stat from Sampath: India have gone 12 consecutive ODIs in Port of Spain without a defeat since losing to Sri Lanka in the 2007 World Cup (11 wins, 1 no result).

Absolutely dotish cricket today. They went back to normal.

Another day another L for WI. It's too predictable now.

I also predict a 5-0 trashing in the T20 series against India too.

Batting 2nd on that pitch was a sure loss. I say 4-1 would be the result in the t20s(in favor of India)

WI players (batsmen in particular) are duncy. They lack the skills necessary for 50 over cricket. In a T20 they can go out and slam, bam thank you mam and it generally would work out hence they reasonably competitive.

However with 300 balls and the need to pace and craft an innings they get in all sorts of trouble.
And even in T20 I believe WI batted the most dot balls in the last WC. Singles, twos and threes are an artform!!!

WI 73-4 after 10 overs chasing 190.
An entertaining final 10 overs awaits

All the WI and India players have to fly to Guyana today to get their US visas for the Lauderhill leg of the tour.
Would be something if any of them are denied. The fact its reached this late stage and hasn't been resolved as yet means the US still could play spoil sport.

What happens if they are denied? Rest of the tour canceled or back up venues available?

Pick from the squad members who have a visa. Switching venues quickly is not easy especially if the broadcast equipment already shipped.

Everybody has gotten their visas.
Guyana's President supposedly assisted.

Fire Pooran. He clearly does not have what it takes to captain the WI.

Fire Simmons. He cannot coach a T20 or ODI 50 over side to save his life.

Fat and unfit, batting in Shepherd's clothes was the only batsman to make an effort.

You wasn't batting for Cornwall previously?
Now Hetmeyer unfit?

1st T20 today
WI vs NZ in Sabina Park 2.30pm for us (1.30pm in Jamaica)

WI continue to show its not really about fans. I see some Jamaicans say they haven't had international T20 cricket for a while (since 2017) and when they do get a match it is put at 1.30 on a workday.

Let me clarify.

The man who the WI board said was fat and unfit was the only one who made runs. Remember how they refused to select Hetmeyer for quite a few games?
