Manning apologises to the country

Postby shake d livin wake d dead » October 28th, 2011, 7:43 pm

saw in on the 7pm news tonight, former PM,Patrick Manning formerly apologised to his colleagues and then did the same to the country,he admitted to several mistakes in the pass and then said "Trinidad and Tobago I am sorry",he however said that he would still be speaking in Parliament and that he fully supports the existing PNM leader.

my take: waste ah time..long steupseeeeeeee :|

man trying to gain the sympathy vote. he is admitting that he is made mistakes, and that he would do better now. he is also saying that the bad that he did is in the past, so in the present and future he would only have successful outcomes. at a time when the incumbent is perceived to be making mistake after mistake, saying that u did make mistakes in the past, subliminally gives the notion that he would not make mistakes like them, now.

nice, but i see what you're doing there.

*why say it now all of a sudden? what is the cause of the epiphany?*

Yeah Patos was feeling some heat from the party/constituency about his representation in Parliament etc. So, he engineers a PR stunt, but we will see if people buyin' wha' Patos sellin'.

Hopefully time will vindicate Mr. Manning. People are too busy seeing through racial/party lens to appreciate what was done. Till then, we hope to rise.

What did he apologize for?
Allowing Caldah Hart to teef millions?
Wasting billions on a set ah empty useless towers in tong to make it look like a 1st world country?
Not doing one fack abt crime so murders cross 500/year?
Failure in economic planning during the years of plenty to prepare the country for the inevitable lean times we are in now?

I could go on and on, but if he eh apologize for none ah dem ting, let him HHMC!!
