Blink Slowdown?

Postby Chill_Factor » October 25th, 2011, 1:01 am

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but for maybe the past 2 weeks, certain sites like YouTube, Trinituner, Fileserve, etc. would take ages to load around 9pm - 3am. When I try to download large files or view Youtube vids, my download speed might be as low as 5 kilobytes per second. Everything would return to normal in the day time.

Tried hard rebooting, but no luck. Still slow as hell.

When I do a speedtest, I would pretty much get my accurate down and up speeds (tested with flow and against servers in miami).

TSTT having routing issues with certain sites? Overcapacity? Anyone else experiencing this?

i sometimes get crappy speeds.. but i jus reboot router... also all this rain + copper cables could add to the performance

Have similar experiences OP and at the time you specified. I think it's just overcrowding. Just saying.

I thought it was me alone but it seems the service has been in a mess for over a month.

I recently switched from BoGT to a Myspot and it's still pissing slow...I get 250-300kbps max......

At least in my situation it was too many people on the wimax signal, not sure of the correct terms right now but i believed they 'increased the signal' about a month ago after many complaints.Works fine now even during peak use hours.I was going through what douglaking was going through until they fixed it.
Still believe that over saturation of the service in your area is the main cause of the slowdown issue.

It is a shared service so more people take it, it will slow down.
