exactly, because if all apps are web apps, then there isnt a full OS (say windows, linux or Mac OS)... which means that you get more outta them normal netbooks than a faster start time. also when time to troubleshoot the devices is the only option gonna be a flash of the mobile OS which would most likely be android?

^ I agree, however the iPad runs a mobile version of Safari browser, whereas this device runs a full version of Chrome browser

I've moved all trinituner mail over to gmail (mail.trinituner.com), use google apps, google Calendar, google docs, google adsense, google DFP Small Business, google Analytics, google sync with my phone etc etc etc and while it works great in the Safari browser I'm suspecting that it may be even better on this Chromebook since it is somewhat better in Chrome browser on my PC

Google syncing does have it cool points but i guess we would have to compare with iCloud for full syncing, however i dont see how people would navigate from the features of a generic laptop to go to a browser OS laptop... i guess well see how this trend goes along

Microsoft toyed with and failed to make this a reality many times (as they did with the tablet PC).
Even in the Linux community.

But that was a different time. Maybe the world is ready for these things now?

Lol @ people offering you only 1500 for your device.
I was wonder, if you don't have Internet, or if the Internet goes down, is it useless?

Prefer to use my phone.

Samsung Galaxy tab or note.

More portable, almost same price.
