PET Plastic Bottle Recycling in Trinidad?

Was just wondering if there are any facilities in Trinidad for responsibly disposing of PET plastic bottles, specifically water bottles.

I heard from someone once that there is a recycle bin in UWI, but never got any concrete info on this...

- How do you "responsibly dispose" of a pet? Yuh wicked or what?

We use thosands of these bottles monthly, and we do place them for collection/recycle. I'll get the specifics and post the info.

you're aware that p.e.t. and p.t.f.e. are heated to over 250C for p.e.t. and 300C for p.t.f.e. in the extrusion process, right?

Yes there are several throughout the campus. Big, light blue, cube-shaped and labelled as plastic only.

I use brita....no buy no more water in plastic bottle again...I fill my bottles and carry them.

Good work vega. People don't realise that its these small acts that go in a forward direction that would make the country better in years to come. But then some people to small minded to see the bigger picture.

To the question posted above, there are blue metal bins located all over the uwi campus for plastic disposal to later be recycled.
