Caribbean Airline aircraft crashes in Guyana!

Postby JJ16 » July 30th, 2011, 6:16 am

Hmm very shocking, my friend just messaged me and told me that a caribbean airlines flight to Guyana crashed... It appears the aircraft ran off the runway on landing and crashed through the perimeter fence before falling to the roadway beyond the fence and ended up breaking in two

The incident took place at around 130am...

Hopefully no one here had anyone on the flight, but no one is reported to have died, just a few injuries, like broken legs, and so(me ppl just have neck pains and back pains etc.. Flight was coming in from POS - GUYANA...(can reported it was from jfk to guyana though)

Just posting up some pics that i found relating to the incident

Just got this link from my friend

There were no fatalities. Health minister Dr. Leslie Ramsammy told Demerara Waves Online News (www.demwaves) at the CJIA that the most serious injuries were a broken leg and a mouth bleed.

In guyana that must be along the lines of ATC shouting

"AYEE BAI D PLANE AH CRASH D PLANE AH CRASH! RUN FI DI WATAH TRUCK!"
