Orthodontist in Trinidad?

Postby JewelF » June 18th, 2011, 12:36 pm

Anybody know of any good orthodontists in Trini? I already picked up on smile works in Woodbrook but I don't know anything about them. No reviews nothing. So i'm a bit afraid to do any work there. So if you've done veneers before, can you recommend a place please? Somewhere in trinidad that's not tooo expensive neither but does great quality work. Area, Name and contact info would be appreciated thank a million.

Veneers with an orthodontist? ; or are you thinking to mask the ortho problem with veneers?
IF so, then dont.
Get a proper consult with a dentist/orthodontist and decide which is the best bet.

As for orthodontists; Dr.Shastri Harnaryan is very good; and there is a new orthodontist near Jean Pierre Complex named Trudee Hoyte that's excellent as well.

Run a search; this has been discussed before.

Thanks. I think its a pricey ordeal in General. Was also considering having it done abroad when the funds became more available. This will be my Christmas gift this year. To look normal :(
De Dragon, iz not necessarily because yuh "disquankay" yuh jaw, only if you got in an accident. Could jus be to alter your jaw structure for comfort/looks etc. Simple sucking finger can cause an out of shape jaw. None of this is the case with me though. http://drrichardjoseph.com/jaw-surgery/

It needs to be coordinated with an orthodontist, or rather should be.

Try Dr Marcus Daniel; he does very good work. I've seen some orthognathic work he did and the results were great.

With respect to orthodontists; cheaper and shorter time in treatment doesn't mean better. There are tons of cases of messed up patients because of either poor treatment planning by the orthodontist, or 'quick' treatment.

Find someone good, work , save and pay your money.

A year? lol. I found this one with a website and everything. He got his work on it. I called in but he charges $8000 / veneer. That is way tooooo expensive. For me to save that i gotta work in the government. But his work is really good, i'll post the link when i find it.

Dwight Angus to my knowledge is the only Orthodontist in Tobago. His service is horrendous- Pompous/ stuck-up. Secretaries are very unprofessional & unpleasant. Consequences of monopoly! Several great Orthodontists in Trinidad. Better prices and service too :)

I really advise you to check around. I had a very bad experience with the orthodontist in curepe opposite Marios Pizza on the Main Road. I had 2 second opinions who said that he really did not do a good job.

I'll still put my recommendation even though it's not where you specified, maybe other people can benefit from this as well

Dr. Sharma in Lange Park is very good. Been going to that office for almost 5 years now and never had a bad experience.
