Businesses, hardwares, warehouses will have to stay open after 6pm and maybe all night for deliveries and stock taking and having to pay staff for overtime or higher after-hours salary.
There will be claims of security risks at night for transporting goods.
Plus I dont think operations such as the quarries can operate at night - increased light bills?
I like Jack's ideas, but this one is going to be near impossible.

And you hit the nail on the head.
How about me delivering concrete to you at 2am?
Prices will increase substantially because everything I use comes in on trucks...cement, aggregates.
My workers will never be home with their wife and kids at night(security). The neighbors of my customers won't be able to sleep with all the noise we'll create.
