anyone having trouble with BLINK Internet?

Postby doom2646 » June 11th, 2011, 11:32 pm

Hey all,
Having issues with Blink Internet.... was unable to connect for most of the day. Later this evening I was able to connect but at very slow speeds.... was trying to call BLINK customer service during the afternoon. No one was answering.
I tried resetting the modem and using the "repair network" (right clicking network icon on bottom right hand corner Win.XP)

Blink too inconsistant for me. One minute its working; the next 3 minutes its crapping.

I have Flow now.....speed for so.

The only problem I have is this stupid Vista. I want to upgrade to windows 7.

Whats the cost to upgrade?????

Only thing that i concerned about with flow,a friend of mine got it last week, for some reason, hotmail is seeing him from the uk,when he's signing in or trying to create an account,it only has 2 options to pick .hotmail.co.uk or live.co.uk,and xbox live is the same thing, saying his region is not supported, which is weird. Checked all the settings on the pc,everything is on US,ip checks on websites see the provider as Flow in St Augustine though,so i have no idea what the hell is going on there

That may be so at times. The solution is simply to unplug the modem and then reset it at the back. The whole process takes roughly one minute and viola, you got your speed back again!

nope! working bess. my only issue is that sometimes there is a slight ping spike like 10ms. Very rare but it happens.

Try another browser.
One time i downloaded Firefox English UK and that happened. I couldnt create a live.com account.
but in XBL... that is weird. Mine's working fine here. No region unsupported issue on thw xbox 8)
