Unless you're 14 and dropped out of school, I would suggest NOT doing A+.
If IT's your main thing. Look at something bigger, like MCITP.
A+ was prestigious a decade ago, but now it's no better than a Ytepp/yapa piece of paper.
Everyone and their grandmother can build pc's and fix hardware issues.
Look my cousin build his own last year, and he's in petroleum.
I hope that's your moonlighting gig.

true but can everyone and their grand mother recover from system errors like NTLDR and NTDETECT missing or corrupt.....or C:/windows/system32/config missing or corrupt...???
or how to disable automatic reboot of the Pc when u get a blue screen error constantly...how to resolve video issues...
Just checked the schedule at CCTL to see what Cisco courses they have, the courses appear to be very short, any reviews from people who did courses there?
all they know is put hard drive on another computer copy off info and wipe and reload OS....and doin a piss poor job at it...cant even bypass windows genuine advantage properly...
they dont even know how to properly configure a BIOS or what the Hell is a SLIC table....
or even how to use msconfig, services, devmgmt and others....
so then if u basing your opinion on a simple thing like building a computer....then yea...anyone can do it...but to actually understand the concept of operation and how to do a proper repair.....hardly ppl does do that.....
as for the OP....boardercom....SBCS....CTTL.....i recommend CTTL....if you going to take classes...or if u just want to do the exam u can do it anywhere u want...go in...talk to them....make payments...choose your day......and go and do your exam
