Inernet access

Postby Hitla » June 1st, 2011, 10:41 am

ok, so i had internet service home via a router but fuh sum reason cant seem to get access any more (distance). so i overs that im now looking at other options to get internet service.. i dont have a tstt phone line or flow cable... i was trying to get the tstt wimax but that too proved futile. Thinked about blink on the go but that mite be cutting it close due to expenses. Im not a tech Geek so im open for options as to getting internet... how else is this possible...Any help will be gr8ly appreciated.... thanks alot.............

Have to have a phone line in your name first of all.Since you said the man doesnt like 'things' installed in his place dont know how you will work that out.Wimax still isnt a sure thing considering how close you live to a wimax enabled tower & if they have any available ports. With all the issues you have seems lika a data sim is your only sure choice.

killa, bess bet is to buy a 2nd hand linksys (WRT54G) for some small money and give your landlord it in exchange for some free months of internet. win-win situation. but i highly doubt anyone would just shrug when dey wifi down. i suspect he lock you out. if das the case, download backtrack 3 and then 'waltz matilda'. tutorials would help you along the way.
