Bandit Shot DEAD!

A Morvant man who was identified as being part of an armed robbery at a jewelry store which was highlighted on TV6's Crime Watch on Thursday evening was shot dead by police during a confrontation in Morvant yesterday afternoon.
The man has been identified as Denzil "Shooter" La Touché, of Flamingo Road, Morvant.
Crime Watch host Ian Alleyne on Thursday showed a video in which La Touché and two other men staged an armed robbery at Mahase Jewelry Store in Couva earlier this week.
As La Touché and his two accomplices announced a robbery at the business place, he fired a shot at one of the sales clerks, who escaped and locked herself in a nearby room.
La Touché and the other men slid their bodies between several glass showcases and a burglar-proofing and they stole thousands of dollars in gold jewelry from the business place before making their escape. The entire robbery was recorded on several surveillance tapes at the jewelry store and were aired on Crime Watch.
Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force, who also saw the video, said they were able to identify La Touché as the armed suspect.
Police said around 4.45 p.m. yesterday, Task Force officers were on mobile patrol in the Morvant community, when they received information that La Touché was walking along Ramier Street.
Task Force officers said they went to the area and, as they approached the suspect in their marked police vehicle, he ran into a nearby house and was pursued. La Touché, police said, pointed a firearm at one of the Task Force officers, who opened fire on him. He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Officers said they recovered a revolver, which they believe was used in the robbery.
A team of officers from the Morvant Police Station, led by acting Supt John Daniel and Insp Ramlogan of the Morvant Police Station, visited the scene and are investigating the incident

On another note, bandits tried to rob a gas station about 5 pm on thursday evening... Owner saw them holding a gun towards one of the attendant's head, owner pulled his liscensed firearm and shoot one in he jaw. The other one dropped the gun and started running, owner shot him in the arse lol. Both bandits started running and were chased down and beaten till dey couldn't move until the police came lol. A getaway car occupied by two women was parked in front my padner's house waitin for the bandits.. Police blocked the car and held suspects as well.

Bandits were from the laventille area.. mind you, dey came to Brother's road (near rio claro) to rob the gas station.

I was also hit by some bandits......few years ago.....police were lazy then and never caught up with them....

I did see the car they used on the highway 2 weeks ago......same model car same number plate.....but everything was changed...car had a different colour....rims...muffler....tint.....number plate letter design was also different ...but i would never 4get that car number......worst yet they pulled out from in front of me and headed down the shoulder so I believe is the same ppl - bandits - have the car cause they were driving like kants.........on the shoulder......

Dread i was so shocked to see the car I did not know what to do but they sped off so quickly down the shoulder.........
