sorry my bad...jus assumed was a pilot job u were lookin for

u mentioned CAL, so i am assuming u want to fly fixed wing or planes to be more specific.
it is going to be alot cheaper to do your pilot license abroad. Alot of trinis go to Deans flight school in fort lauderdale.
get your commercial license and come back home.
you will have an american commercial pilots license but we follow the british system here so you have to do 10 conversion exams (maybe 12) to acquire your Trinidad and Tobago commercial pilots license.
when this is complete, apply for a job like the rest of us
Requirements:
Must be a holder of a T&T CPL
Minimum 250 hours
21 years of age minimum
i think 5 'O' is required, maybe some 'A' level passes not sure.
There are alot of pilots waiting for jobs so try to get into the industry. If its CAL you wanna fly with, i would apply for reservations, airline reps, operations as hoverauto stated etc so at least you will have "a foot in the door".
i am a qualified commercial pilot and i have 7 years experience in the industry. i can tell you the little experience helps and its good to know how the airline works or at least have an idea so you wont be lost when you eventually start.
hope this help man.
goodluck
