I'm using Flow but the issue is only happening for tuner. Pages take about 60-80 seconds to load after click.
Submitting replies take long too. Thought the site was prob overloaded, but it's been happening consistently for a couple days

Flow internet is completely down my me about an hour now. La romaine area. Reset and no change.

Thanks. Thought was me alone. It is frustrating no end so I am limiting my posts for now. Today is the first time it is happening with me.

Same here, using mobile data to type this. It was working ok up till about an hour ago and then completely stopped. Nothing on any of the other social media about it as yet so not sure how widespread it is.

Contacted flow and they said they are experiencing an outage in the area. They couldn’t however give a timeframe for it to be restored. All my services are down, cable, flow landline and internet.

No problems here. VexXx Dogg flush the DNS cache on the machine, ipconfig /release/renew, Change the DNS to 1.1.1.1 and restart the router. I know you probably already did all that.

TBH Trinituner admins have this place vulnerable. Admins needs to look at the platform and fix it before it attracts the attention of a Black Hat in the wild.

Happens to me in south and north. If you call flow when it happens they can tell you if they’re doing any service work in the area.

White more reliable for me, and I’m in Waterloo.
Used to have to reboot the black frequently and it used to take ages to boot and connect. White is faster in terms of download cap and boots quicker

Ended up getting the Big Black arris with Wi-Fi (TG2482) disabled the Wireless 2.4 and 5ghz band asap and put it in NAT bridge mode. Man it really does feel snappy, Pings are around 70s in game. So far so good.

Can’t figure out how to disable the Flow internet broadcast from the modem tho so if anyone knows please advise.!!
(although bridge mode prevents access through it)

No drops at all since it’s installed so that’s good.

Call flow to disable flow wifi.
Disabling the wifi radios should have turned it off tho. But I have the white one.

The newer black modem has an extra wifi controller and antenna that is inaccessible to anyone but the superadmin from Flow side. They realized that with the white modem people were just turning it off with bridge mode and when they tried to update my white modem's firmware while in bridge mode the entire wifi module stopped working. So they upgraded my service with the black TG2482A modem.

That said, you can call them and opt out of the program of this Flow roaming wifi where you sign in with your Flow account from your phone. If you have data on your phone you should opt out. If you don't, the Flow free Wifi is like scrounging like a vagrant in random places looking for a wifi signal, and then most time it can't even connect. To me it's useless and stupid, and who gave them permission to use my electricity to broadcast an unauthorized wifi signal that is creating useless interference of my own wifi in my space? Energy usage adds up to more pollution across a million users.

https://discoverflow.co/trinidad/flow-wifi
Do I have the option of opting out of this?
Yes, you can opt out at any time. Simple call our contact centre at 1 (868) 223- 3569 or send us an email at FlowWiFisupport@cwc.com and one of our helpful agents will assist. Please note that it may take up to 2 weeks for the Flow Wi-Fi to be disabled on your modem

Call centre process flow:

Step : 1 FLOW BB Customer unwilling to grant access to Flow Wi-Fi.

Step : 2 Customer contacts FLOW call center and speaks to an agent.

Step : 3 Detail explanation of the benefits of Flow Wi-Fi and confirmation.

Step : 4 Agent advises service blocked and reconnect anytime.

Once I opt out, can I still use Flow Wi-Fi?
No. Once you opt out of Flow Wi-Fi you cannot use this service at any location where it is available.

Well same issue modem clearly wasn’t the problem, service goes down for 10-15mins every hour sometimes within the hour.

Yep correct about the superadmin to disable the flow wifi

I'm using bridge but tried to shift my dual band channels away from all the cluster wifi around me and that's just a extra one that's there

Normal techs not allowed when I asked over the phone

Sounds like a wiring or signal issue

Tech came, But of course when he came the internet was working tops. He did the test on my connections and it was all good. So he said now whatever intermittent issues I having it’s overhead, not service and not modem specific and he’ll Pass on that to some other effin department now lol

looking like basically a cable box but instead of connecting through coax wire, it is using wifi for the connection.

there are some other features too, like integrated apps (HBO Max, YouTube, etc) and voice remote, but is still basically a cable box.

I would be curious as to whether it has better bitrate than the current wired boxes. ZeeTV HD gets heavily pixelated on Flow during any big dance scene because the bitrate can't keep up with all the action on screen.

Same with HBO channels on Flow. Streaming it direct on HBO Max looks 100x better because that service actually has enough bitrate to keep up.

If anyone has the new box and is watchs ZeeTV or Star Plus, let me know if it is any better wrt bitrates.
