If you look at trends over time, you'll see that the best time to start is always "now". There's always something that pushes the price of construction up. I'm in the same boat, but just waiting on approvals to start.

What is a good brand to go with?
Thanks.

carluva wrote:My recommendation is to avoid the Biggie pipes and square gutters.
The joints to connect sections together and to connect to bends and offsets are almost always never snug. Liberal amounts of silicone are often needed to secure these joints and to make leak proof. I do not believe the joints are tight enough to even allow the use of solvent cement.
The price as well is also quite high.
I would recommend using 3" PVC pipe (or 4" PVC depending on water volume) over the square down pipes any day. Once painted, they look just as good and connecting pieces together is much easier. Repairs will also be very easy due the cost and availability of proper PVC fittings.dtopshottas wrote:Good day All,

I heard an ad on the radio a couple weeks ago about a construction company doing full builds and they will pay for any cost over-runs or a free pool.
Unfortunately I was driving so I didn’t get to take down the name.
Anybody heard the ad and can provide the name?
The Top coat of laminate flooring is a clear finish. The top coat layer is made from a mixture of melamine and urethane aluminum oxide. Aluminum oxide finishes are used in many different products and provide a UV cured finish. This finish is resistant to stains and fading from sunlight. The mixture also supports an EIR finish. An EIR finish is what the industry called Register Embossing. This embossing is what provides the realistic texture that follows the pattern of the image on the flooring. The other significant part of the top coat is the melamine, this will help provide stability for the product. The thickness of the top layer is often the same thickness of the bottom layer, and they comprised of similar material.

Like pugboy said it's different quality and resistance for brands. Not all are going to be the same quality, and like any floor they need certain levels of maintenance. The Top coat of laminate flooring is a clear finish.
