When you reach the stage that even your fake menus show you can't cook. Plenty of nonsense in those descriptions

Brown rice, Mexican style black-eyed peas (refried style, but chunky), stew chicken.

Made a nice veg tossed salad for dinner with bronze lettuce, red oak lettuce, kale, red onion, red bell pepper, olives, chopped celery, cranberries and some shaved parmesan. Might make some croutons with stale Linda's grain bread. Just to chunk the bread, light toss in olive oil and into the oven for 8-10 mins @ 400F

No lunch today, did cook my wife dinner, herb and cheese tortellini, chicken parmesan, sauteed yellow, red and orange bell peppers, portobello mushrooms and asparagus, homemade garlic bread. Sparkling rosé wine with blueberries and orange juice. Happy Mother's Day to all

Love the mix. Chicken Parm is always a winner.
Where did you get the asparagus?

For MD we decided to do a brunch type thing Dutch style today. Too much to list overall but on my end we made breakfast potatoes, chicken sausages, Vege sausages and home made chicken tenders. Got some nice boneless breast trays in Pmart yesterday and used that with home made seasoning and breading.

The mothers also asked for "bottomless mimosas" so we dealt with a fair amount of prosecco.
