van debate

Postby zepher » August 16th, 2010, 9:56 am

I am in the process of lookin for a good van and so far my three options are
Toyota hilux
Nissan Navara
Ford Wildtrak

I am lookin for a good van , i not too much on the chrome and big rims cuz i think a van should be able to go everywhere, automatic, 4x2 or 4x4 cuz it would have to go in bush and mud for my job I lookin for a roro cus the cost at the firms for servicing are alot!!.... .........any opinions??????????

the order you listed them in, is the order in which they are most likely to be stolen or you be car-jacked for it.
from most likely to least likely.
take that into account.

its basically the same as the ranger, but the ranger styling beats it. plus after sales service for the mazda dealership leaves alot to be desired....

Also, why automatic??? Especially since price is an issue, the cost of a manual is significantly lower than an automatic. AND since you will be skimping on maintenance, all you need to do is change fluids once every couple years with a manual, and with good driving your clutch will last years.

Navara just looks good, go with the Ford or Toyota and you would be fine, the Toyota preferably

NAVARA ftw.

I'm a proud owner and I had no problems with this van whatsoever and I had it for a year. Powerful. Durable.

navara is not the best thing to go in mud and offroad.

not enough ground clearance as the other vans.
stick with ranger, hilux and bt-50
I think the bt-50's still carry the wl-t 12 valve though, the rangers use a better engine - more power.
