Putting together a system for my parents and I might just end up getting the damn case locally because of shipping costs.

Would like to know if I should skip that gen and wait for a DDR6 build cuz I just ordered some more RAM online to expand my memory, just regular DDR4.

Well ddr5 goes with the new cpu and chipsets so it’s no easy upgrade. From all stress tests the main benefits comes to workstation and server side of things because of the speeds. For gaming/editing and 90% of users I would say don’t overall skip the generation but it needs more time to get integrated for the average user

Use disk manager and format it, it should show up after formatting and a reboot, check bios as well to see if it’s recognized correctly
Power supply would be decent for most components today. Intel might have launched their latest series (13th gen) but it hasn't made it to retail just yet; it is expected in Octoberfred1266 wrote:hi guys haven't done a build in quite a while but since i bout my ultra wide tv been having some issue so think it time for an upgrade
