Flood causing major traffic on the southbound highway

Postby wagon r » July 30th, 2010, 3:32 pm

...from Price Plaza to Freeport flyover is basically standstill.....so if yuh leaving wuk....pass in the parlour and get some snacks....yuh in for a long drive.

Cause of the traffic: There is flood water across the highway on the southbound in the vicinity of Freeport

seems to be an accident...for 3 ambulances have passed and some fire services vehicles.

..you could walk faster than the traffic is moving @ the moment.

i also heard on radio the highway is flooding in the vicinity of claxton bay and that is a reason for the traffic also.

Aye_soldier i passed on the northbound lane about an hour ago & it only had a little bit of water just before Freeport flyover but the southbound lane in a mess, have flood about 3 places between Freeport & Preysal flyovers & traffic back up straight back until Charlieville. I waiting for it to ease up to go home :(
