A+ Certification

Postby Keegs » July 28th, 2010, 12:22 am

Yea people, i wanna know if anyone do the A+ exam recently, what's it like? Can you offer any tips on reading material or areas to learn? Is Bordercom a good institution to attend for the tuition?

Your best tutor is your Study manual

Read it fully and understand it fully

Bordercom aint bad yo

the latest format is you must pass 2 of four exams

1 mandatory and choose one from the other three

check out comptia's website as they have the percentages on what they test on for each exam

http://www.comptia.org/certifications/listed/a.aspx

unless coupled with network +

it eh really worth much unless you working in a computer repair shop

if you have the time the $ go for it, it is generally considered tier one support (repair shops/phone tech support) but with experience (2+yrs) and eventually when you get additional certs from comp-TIA (network +, linux+) you can make some decent coin.(locally and abroad) plus what i said before
