Cryme Tyme's Shad Gaspard went missing on sunday after a trip to the beach with his wife and son when he & his son got caught in a riptide, the man made sure and put his son's needs before his, and saved him - but the riptide took him under and he was never seen again, until they found him wednesday morning washed up on the shore.

Man went out like a hero. Rest in Power, Shad Gaspard.

finally, a few wrestlemanias before the loss to lesnar, they should have retired him. leave him with an insurmountable end. but they make him loss just push lesnar, after lesnar did get cut ass busy busy in ufc, and them make him loss to the shitsnake reigns, for nutten. reigns eh bad, but he wsant in demand enough to get top billing.

is since them days i lock off. not sure what or who goin on now.

saw a lil promo between bray wyatt and strowman, and bray making a good story for braun to fall back in with him, but braun not playing along and want to keep his single action. wyatt family had good potential to shake things up and make the place unpredictable... coudl have been a good successor to kane/ undertaker/ mankind stories.

A legend of the pre-attitude into the attitude era!!

WWE icon Joseph Laurinaitis, AKA Road Warrior Animal, died Tuesday night of natural causes ... TMZ Sports has confirmed. He was 60 years old.

Law enforcement tells us, the wrestling legend -- who was one half of the famous Road Warriors tag team -- passed away at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, MO.

Pat Patterson passed away this morning. The inaugural Intercontinental Champ.
I know him in his time with Brisco as Vince's lackeys during the Attitude era.

Nah know him as Razor Ramon and Nash as Diesel.

Seeing these fellas now so eye opening. Luger wheel chair bound. Hulk and Flair lasting long for that era.

WRT Benoit didn't the WWE block any attempt to link him (and Test) to CTE? However his autopsy confirmed he had it (CTE can only be diagnosed after death)
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 224343.htm

CTE is the same condition that affects NFL players and leads to violent behaviour later in life.

WWE's McMahon says he is retiring amid misconduct probe

World Wrestling Entertainment impresario Vince McMahon says he is retiring amid an investigation into alleged misconduct involving the flamboyant showman who turned a small wrestling company into a worldwide entertainment business

NEW YORK -- World Wrestling Entertainment impresario Vince McMahon announced Friday he is retiring amid an investigation into alleged misconduct involving the flamboyant showman who turned a small wrestling company into a worldwide entertainment business.

In a brief statement issued by WWE, McMahon said he is retiring as the company's chairman and CEO. He noted that he remains its majority shareholder.

McMahon stepped down temporarily as CEO and chairman of WWE in mid-June during an investigation into alleged misconduct. Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported McMahon agreed to pay more than $12 million over the past 16 years to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.

“At 77, time for me to retire. Thank you, WWE Universe. Then. Now. Forever. Together. #WWE #thankful,” he wrote on Twitter.

There was no mention of the investigation in statement from the company based in Stamford, Connecticut. McMahon said his daughter, Stephanie, who was named interim CEO and chairperson last month, will serve as chairperson and share CEO duties with Nick Khan, who joined the company in 2020.

“Our global audience can take comfort in knowing WWE will continue to entertain you with the same fervor, dedication, and passion as always," he wrote in the statement, thanking WWE's generations of fans all over the world.

McMahon first stepped aside from the top positions last month after the Journal reported at the time that he had agreed to pay $3 million to a former paralegal who said he sexually harassed her on the job. He was supposed to continue overseeing WWE’s creative content during the companies investigation. But then the newspaper reported that McMahon had agreed to pay the significantly larger sum of $12 million.

Four women — all formerly affiliated with WWE — signed agreements with McMahon that bar them from discussing their relationships with him, the Journal reported, citing people familiar with the deals and documents it reviewed. McMahon has said he is cooperating with the company's investigation.

McMahon has been the leader and most recognizable face at WWE for decades. When he purchased what was then the World Wrestling Federation from his father in 1982, wrestling matches took place at small venues and appeared on local cable channels.

The organization underwent a seismic transformation under McMahon with events like WrestleMania, a premium live production that draws millions of fervent viewers.

Revenue last year exceeded $1 billion for the first time and the company has television deals with Fox and NBCUniversal. Last month it announced a multiyear expansion of its original programming partnership with A&E.

WWE stars have become crossover sensations, including Hulk Hogan, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and John Cena.

I don’t know why they don’t put a little money behind the local boxing scene, Saw a vid with a fat man with proper form, controlled punches and was surprisingly fast too, yea it have jokers out there but from some of the videos the men have real potential! A lil training and discipline and we have proper competition material. County and district matches, lil prize, round up a couple sponsors for hampers.
