Thanks.

I made several calls yesterday and got through to suppliers who have these offerings:

ESWIL and CEEJAY Engineering have Ebara pumps from $2900 to $3900.

Watersource has Zoeller for under $2500 and a Flotec (Pentair) for around $3600.

Ft Farfan has a Pedrollo vortex for $7000+.

A rep at Ft Farfan put me on to a guy in Freeport called Pump Xpertz. He has a Leo pump (Chinese/Hungarian) for $1775.

The Leo specs seem to be the best especially at that price. But the Ebara is a good and reliable brand.

I'll call those places you've suggested and get back if there is anything new.

Bhagwansingh's has a Red Lion sump pump for $1400 which theoretically can work, but it's not a true effluent pump and not recommended for sewage systems. But given that the water being pumped is not raw sewerage and would have minimal solids, that's why I said it could theoretically work. I won't take that chance tho cause you just never know.

.

Watertech
L&S
Engage
QUALITECH

those are the bigger suppliers with the better brands...ebara, Sparta, hydromatic etc

If you look good at bhagwansings you might find one or two. Maybe Peake also has a goulds I saw once.

If you want a good non brand name pump call Ragbar Plumbing...PM me if you can't find a contact for them. Rocky's in curepe may also have something you can use.

Unrelated question for you, what do you call those nuts that bite into the wood used to install subs to boxes and where to find it? You mentioned this before on the Audio forum but i cant remember. I want to bolt something to wood and thought this would work well.

T-nuts. Allied hardware had some reasonable priced ones. What size?

I have about 30 big ones for monster subs, but I'm using midget subs now

Is there anywhere that sells small pieces of aluminum sheet?

I need a 3x3 piece of 2-3 mm thickness to bend an intake heat shield.
