So i pretty much tried every popular one out there n all of them have some sorta flaws..trying to make up my mind to finally put one on my laptop, altho i using it more than a yr without any protection and no problems..think i shud prolly get one :lol:

so, tuners, which is ur Fav Anti-virus/spyware/malware software and why?

Best I used imo is NOD32
easy on resources and simple

Hmmm..Avast was one of the better ones for me..but I dont think i liked the interface

eset NOD32 BE ftw... noting and i mean nothing does pass thru that.. also updated 1ce sometings 2wice a day

McAfee. It's covered under the home use policy by the company, so it's always up to date, so long as the company keeps the subscription up.

This is coming from a legit perspective eh guys. I hope that is the case that you all pay for NOD32.

I using Avast Free.

microsoft security essentials is totally free, small footprint, great detection rate and low false positives.

Avast..........no virus got through the free version for the 1 year i using it on multiple machines

Kapersky....no problems, run it on 3 computers for the past 2/3 years at home; the other one has McAfee but its a work one so have to use it

Microsoft Security Essentials presently does the job for me.

Before that, i used Avast, which is pretty good as well.
