Grinders have gone up in price a lot,
However I see starlite South Park have some baratza grinders which look like old stock based on the price compared to current online prices.

Got these in Price Club yesterday.

Each under $45.

Some other flavours in the ground coffee were under $40.

The instant coffee is not all that bad.

I have a Dedica espresso and grinder also.

My machine looks identical to yours except for the wand. Mine doesn't have the ability to switch style of frothing.

Did you know that if you buy and consume those 3-1 coffee tubes it improves your sex ?

And they cost $2 a pop vs Starbuck's $30 .

Google it .

I noticed you have the identical Keurig machine as I do.

I know one is a coffee maker versus an Espresso machine, but if you were to make an Americano using the DeLonghi, how would the taste compare to the Keurig if using the same coffee?

Do you still use the Keurig?

Btw - what is the chemistry setup on the left used for?

when you say "same coffee" as in using one of the self fillable kcup pods ?

You can get very comparable results for americano if your grinder is good and setup right for the kcup machine(with good beans)
I no longer use an espresso machine and just a cuisinart kcup machine and a baratza vario grinder
actually gave away a gaggia classic with full pid setup lol, too lazy to do the whole tamping thing anymore.

Was a bit vague, but yes... Same type of coffee, same grind and using the refillable kcup basket.

Personally, I like my Keurig and found that the coffee is great tasting. Compared to Americanos I have bought out side with the professional makers, I have always found that the Keurig does a good job. Hence why I am torn on a DeLonghi or other similar espresso machine.

Almost all commercial coffee shops do not extract good espresso which is the foundation for a decent americano... that is why the taste varies drastically

Compared to the keurig which should be more consistent once u get fresh beans

Have that same machine too. Works well once you set up properly

When I started using the DeLongi I stopped using the Keurig. The deLongi offers a far superior brew plus the convenience of using freshly ground beans is everything!
The chem set up is for pour over coffee

Silvia is a very decent machine like a gaggia
Unless you looking for bells and whistles I wouldn't upgrade.
They probably have better output heads than the current machines.

The grinder as you know makes the difference at this level.

I guess I'm using the word upgrade loosely.
I'm looking at getting a lever machine..

100% true with grinders.

full bloom's beans are quite decent, starlite drugs Nova was also decent when I tried them a few years ago but I am not sure how they are now as they seem to have stopped marketing them.
